Cash Gifts for the Holidays, from Digicel

George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – December 7, 2009:  Digicel Cayman added to the holiday season by awarding valuable cash prizes to thirty Cayman Islands customers on December 12, 2009 at The Reef Grill Royal Palms in Grand Cayman.

It was an exciting finale to a truly fantastic promotion that gave Cayman Islands subscribers the chance to win cash prizes totaling up to US$40,000 in cash. Digicel’s ‘Cash for Christmas’, proved to be the long-awaited and much needed opportunity to win some spending money for the holiday season. Eighty lucky customers were selected as semi-finalists live on DMS Broadcasting’s four radio stations during the promotion that commenced on November 13.

In undoubtedly one of the most unique competition prize drawings of the year, these lucky semi-finalists were invited to the Reef Grill Royal Palms for the Grand Prize Draw, from which an initial twenty finalists were randomly selected to enter the Money Machine to “grab for cash”.  From the word “GO”, the finalists went into a frenzy grabbing as much cash as they could during  their allotted time period.  Finalist after finalist the crowd of on lookers cheered on showing their supported with rapturous applause .

In keeping with the spirit of the season and with very generous gesture, the company announced that it would select a further ten finalists to enter into the machine bringing the total number of Digicel customers that would walk away with much needed cash to thirty.
