BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express provides advanced BlackBerry smartphone business features with no software licensing fees or additional per user license fees. 

End User Features

Email: Receive Microsoft® Outlook® email on your BlackBerry smartphone.  Email is delivered via push technology to your smartphone and synchronizes with your desktop mail.  Other functions include flag for follow up, remote email search, set up out-of-office reply, HTML email, and many more.

Calendaring:  Send out and respond to meeting invitations easily from your BlackBerry smartphone. The calendar on the BlackBerry smartphone synchronizes with the desktop calendar to stay up-to-date automatically without having to connect to a computer. Plus you get advanced capabilities such as free/busy lookup, the ability to forward appointments and more.

Contacts: Your contact information automatically stays up-to-date with the information on your computer including the ability to synchronize multiple contact folders, personal distribution lists and public/shared folders to your smartphone.

Apps:  Thousands of Apps equal one word – productivity

Security:  Behind the firewall applications (eg. SAP® and Oracle®)

Instant Messaging:  Instant gratification with personal Instant Messaging (eg. BlackBerry® Messenger, Google Talk™ and Yahoo!® Messenger)

Social Networking:  Networking comes easily with Facebook®, Flikr™, LinkedIn®, Twitter™ and more.

Document and File Access: Access network files from your BlackBerry smartphone. Now you can open, view, save, or email files directly from your smartphone. 2  Popular supported file formats include   JPEG, Adobe® PDF, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel® and Microsoft® PowerPoint®.  You can also edit Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint files using Documents To Go™.  

 IT Features

BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express offers:

1. IT control and advanced security features even for employees that
     choose to bring their own BlackBerry smartphone into your business.

2.  The ability to be installed and run on the same server that runs the email
      server that runs Microsoft® Exchange 2003 SP2, 2007 SP1, 2010 or
      Windows® Small Business Server  2003 and 2008 for up to 75 BlackBerry
      smartphone users. If you require greater than 75 users, BlackBerry
      Enterprise Server Express has the flexibility to be installed on a separate
      server(s).[1]

3.  Support for any Internet-enabled BlackBerry data plan from your
      wireless service provider or a BlackBerry enterprise data plan.
